“Art is Cool” with BlueLucy Studios

Cost: $225 residents for 11 week session of 2 classes per week

$225 by September 15 or $125 down and $110 by October 15
 
Local artist Brenna White will be teaching an intensive 11 week program to help kids explore their love of art. Brenna is a working Tualatin artist and certified teacher. Each class will meet for 1 ½ hours twice per week. All supplies are included in program fee. There will be an art show at the conclusion of the term. Pre-registration is required. Art classes focused on the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. Students will learn about and create art through engaging lessons incorporating: art history, art criticism, color theory, and various artistic techniques. Mediums will include but not be limited to pencil, pen, marker, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and clay. The 5-8 year old class is also wonderful to fill those mornings for afternoon kindergarteners!

Art Discovery
Grades 2-5
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
This after school art class will focus on drawing techniques and different mediums.  Students will have the opportunity to learn about: art history, art criticism, color theory, and various artistic techniques all while stretching their imagination and creating some great art.  Lessons will vary throughout each term.  Mediums will include but not be limited to pencil, pen, marker, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and clay.

This is an after school art class that will provide a community place for students to learn, create, and hang out after school. Students will participate in lessons that incorporate the elements of art, principles of design, art history, art criticism, color theory, and artistic technique. Students will experience projects that build their skills while remaining engaging and relevant to their lives. Students will have a voice in the direction this class takes. Mediums will include but not be limited to pencil, pen, marker, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and clay.
